The Len Reynolds Trust partners with a range of organisations and community groups to create lasting positive change across the Waikato region. These partnerships span education, health, social development and environmental sustainability initiatives. By working closely with iwi, charities and local groups, the Trust amplifies its impact, enabling grassroots efforts to flourish and addressing the region's most pressing challenges. With a strong commitment to collaboration, the Len Reynolds Trust empowers its partners to achieve meaningful outcomes that strengthen communities and enhance wellbeing.
Western Community Centre
Following a powerful video presentation highlighting the urgent need for a dedicated space for rangatahi at the Western Community Centre the Len Reynolds Trust made its largest-ever grant of $100,000 to support the development of a youth hub. Recognising that funding alone wouldn’t be enough, the Trust took an active role in bringing other funders to the table, leading to three additional commitments. This experience reinforced their belief that funding should go beyond transactions—by building relationships, advocating for projects, and fostering collaboration, they aim to create lasting change.
Living Wage Employer
At the Len Reynolds Trust, we believe in funding initiatives that drive transformative change, build movements, and challenge systems that perpetuate inequity. One powerful example of this is our partnership with the Living Wage Movement Aotearoa NZ, through a $20,000 grant to support the role of their Hamilton Living Wage Coordinator.
